Beekeeping 102 with Dr Dewey Caron
NEW Course 6 sessions - last Sunday of month May 31 through October 25. 5 -6:30
PM Eastern Time via Zoom (Sessions recorded for viewing/reviewing at other times).
This course is designed for beekeepers who have some experience with bees but would like to improve their success and confidence in colony management. If you have experienced ups and downs with your bees, this course will provide practical, season-by-season guidance to help you manage your colonies more effectively. Topics will include colony health, seasonal management, and strategies for keeping bees strong and productive throughout the year. Students are strongly encouraged to purchase the textbook, as the course will closely follow it.

Course minimum 8 persons
Cost $150/individual.

Textbook Honey Bee Biology & Beekeeping 2024 (3 rd edition, 2 nd printing) recommended

Sunday September – 27 Conquering Bee Maladies (Chapters 21-23 HBS)
Sunday October – 25 – Taking it to Next Level, surviving winter, making money
