Title: The long road to developing a varroa control product: What it takes and what I learned.

Bio: As a honeybee researcher, Jim ran some of the largest field trials ever in developing a new varroa control product for Monsanto/Bayer. When Bayer sold the product to Greenlight BioSciences, Jim followed the project so he could see it through to commercialization. His experiences have allowed him to work with some of the top commercial beekeepers in the US and Canada. Currently, he is focusing on his bee business where he is up to ~200 hives. He has written about his journey into full-time beekeeping in Bee Culture magazine.
